Internal Dashboard Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to the Cornel's Internal Dashboard (the “Dashboard”). The Dashboard is a private business tool operated by Cornel's Plumbing, Heating & Air (“Cornel's,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It is not offered to the public or to Cornel's customers.

1. Authorized internal use

Only Cornel's owners, employees, contractors, and other people expressly authorized by Cornel's may use the Dashboard. Access is limited to legitimate Cornel's business purposes and may be revoked at any time. Credentials and access tokens must not be shared with unauthorized people.

2. QuickBooks Online connection

The Dashboard may connect to Cornel's QuickBooks Online company through Intuit's OAuth authorization process. It retrieves accounting information for internal reporting and analysis and is designed for read-only use.

The Dashboard is not intended to create, edit, delete, void, upload, or otherwise modify QuickBooks records, transactions, settings, or payments. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks and services of Intuit Inc. This internal tool is not sponsored or endorsed by Intuit.

3. Data and confidentiality

The Dashboard may access company information, chart-of-accounts data, financial reports, and related accounting information needed for its authorized internal functions. Users must protect all financial, customer, employee, and vendor information and must not disclose it to unauthorized people.

4. Security and acceptable use

Authorized users must:

• Protect their devices, credentials, and access.
• Follow Cornel's security and confidentiality policies.
• Report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
• Never bypass security controls or interfere with connected services.
• Never use the Dashboard for personal or unlawful purposes.

5. Ownership and availability

The Dashboard and its software, design, and documentation belong to Cornel's or its licensors. The Dashboard may depend on Intuit APIs, QuickBooks Online, internet connectivity, and other third-party technology. Availability is not guaranteed, and access may be suspended for security, maintenance, operational, or compliance reasons.

6. Disclaimer and limitation

The Dashboard is provided for internal informational and operational use. It does not replace professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. To the extent permitted by law, it is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Cornel's will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from its use, except where such liability cannot legally be limited.

7. Termination and changes

Authorization ends when Cornel's revokes access or the user's relationship with Cornel's ends. Cornel's may disconnect the Dashboard from QuickBooks Online or update these Terms at any time. The effective date above identifies the current version.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
